Ear Candling
Ear Candling 30 Minute Stand-Alone Treatment
30 Minutes - $60
As an add on to 60 minutes of Acupuncture - $40
Originally used for spiritual cleansing and energy harmonizing, this is an ancient technique that has many health benefits. Ear candling helps clear earwax buildup and debris in the canal, soothes sinuses, alleviates allergies, anxiety, tinnitus, vertigo and balance issues.
It is a very soothing and calming treatment performed while lying down in a quiet room. A gentle suction may be felt along with a soothing warmth. The rising air gently massages the ear drum along with regulating the pressure. The candling works like a chimney, drawing impurities up and away while equalizing pressure in the sinus cavities and ears. A soft crackling sound may be heard, or some gentle popping. Robin offers this as a treatment on its own or as a delightful addition to an Acupuncture treatment.
*Window of the Sky Wellbeing With Acupuncture is the only clinic offering Ear Candling in the local area.
Cupping
Cupping Stand-Alone Treatment
30 Minutes - $60
Cupping is an adjunct treatment which can be added to your Acupuncture session or act as a stand-alone treatment. Glass cups are applied on the affected area while creating suction. Cupping works by moving new, healthy blood into the region, while also moving old, stagnant blood from the tissue into the upper layers of the skin. This leaves what is called a cupping mark, which looks like a circular bruise. the mark should only last for a few days and go away.
Cupping works well for stretching tight muscles and fascia, making the body more limber. It is also very useful for pain in most areas of the body, including the neck and back. Cupping works well to clear congestion from the common cold and helps with calming in situations of anxiety and so many more concerns.
